Research: Community Outreach

A collection of community representatives from local churches and businesses gather to discuss their desires for a community center focused on holistic development.

Many women expressed a desire to have technical skill training from hair dressing to baking. Specifically, an overarching theme was to encourage mentorships between women in the community to not only grow personally but in the collective.

Additionally, many discussed social and community problems that they would liek to seek counseling for; this ranged from sibling fights, parent-child conflict, substance abuses, and child neglect.

Such topic will help to inform the future activities of KWEC.
