A centre for women and children in the Kgalagadi District of Botswana

Mission:

  • To support the social, political, and economic interests of women and children

  • To improve the lives of women and children through education, health, economic empowerment, and social amenities

  • To provide services and counselling for women

  • To create an innovative hub for economical sustainability for women

We Have MOVED!

Programming

  • International Research Hub

    We have hosted academics from the United States and the United Kingdom to conduct a variety of innovative projects within the region.

  • Teen Mother Support Group

    Local teen mothers meet on a weekly basis to foster community support during their pregnancies and afterward.

  • Tutoring

    Based out of Tsabong Unified Secondary School, we coordinate tutoring for main subjects in preparation for examinations.

    In partnership with local government agencies we offer workshops to help new parents adjust to raising children and supporting their development

  • Second-Hand Clothing Sales

    Donate and shop at the same location. Bring in old items for donation, and shop for new clothes at our store front. Merchandise turn over happens frequently
